An Evening at Hogwarts - SSM

We host Hogwarts themed fundraising events in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to support the Sault Area Hospital Foundation Cancer Care Fund.

Through interactive experiences, activities, and community engagement, we bring fans together for a good cause. Our event's theme focuses on the positive messages within the Harry Potter story of inclusion, acceptance and diversity. The harmful views of the author towards transgender and gender diverse individuals, do not represent the values or opinions of our committee or our event. We want to promote a diverse, accessible, and equitable space for everyone to participate, regardless of gender identity or expression. This event belongs to our local community and the key goal is to support local cancer care through a fun, magical and inclusive experience. Let's work together to ensure that our event maintains a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for all to enjoy as their authentic selves.

'Differences of heart and language are nothing at all if our aims are identical and our hearts are open.' ~Albus Dumbledore"

It takes more than magic to build Hogwarts. Sometimes, it takes some serious equipment. 🏗️⚡

Every year, Professor Sponsor Trimount Construction Group plays an instrumental role in helping us get our large builds, oversized props and bigger event pieces to the venue on setup day. Their behind-the-scenes support helps turn an empty event space into Hogwarts.

🏰 Thank you, Trimount, for helping us bring Hogwarts to life year after year, and for being there to help us build it one final time.
