Groom Team Canada is a non-profit organization. There is a point system put in place starting Jan 1 2015.

Our goal is to raise funds to send future teams to the World Team Grooming Competitions, while also promoting education for groomers. This page is for Canadian groomers to inform themselves and learn about what is needed to be qualified to compete in Groom Team Canada. Go to Saskfinest link on this page and click groom team canada to find the point system and table. There are delegates in all of the provinces who would be happy to help with any questions.

We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Marie Lou, her amazing husband, Ukal Canada Pet Grooming Products, and the ATQ - Association Toilettage Québec for helping to provide a presence for Groom Team Canada this past weekend! And, for selling hoodies and t-shirts to help raise funds for Groom Team Canada. We truly appreciate all of you!!

Since 2017, Artero Pet Care has been an incredible supporter of Groom Team Canada—not only keeping us stocked with their amazing grooming products, but making sure our team looks pretty sharp while representing Canada, too! 🇨🇦❤️

Year after year, Artero continues to stand behind our team, and we are so grateful for their ongoing support.

Thank you, Artero, for being part of our journey—and for making that GOLD MEDAL look even better! 🥇✨🇨🇦

We’re so proud to have you in our corner!

🇨🇦WORLD CHAMPIONS — GOLD FOR CANADA!🇨🇦

We could not be more proud of our team.

Congratulations to our incredible Groom Team Canada! You represented Canada with talent, professionalism, determination, and heart, and seeing all of that hard work come together on the world stage is something we will never forget.

And of course, we have to thank the other half of this team — the dogs.
The incredible partners who trust us, work alongside us, and give us everything they have. This Gold belongs to them too.

Achievements like this also wouldn't be possible without the companies who believe in Groom Team Canada and support our journey. A huge thank you to our amazing sponsors:
Ukal Canada
Canadian Grooming Distributor
Lynn Pet Professional
Artero USA
Jirpet
Continental Pet Company
LA Sharpening

Groom Team Canada also wouldn't be possible without the volunteers, show organizers, and countless people who have supported and donated to sending our teams to World's.

To our team: be proud. Be proud of the work, the sacrifices, the journey, and everything it took to get to this moment.
You stepped onto the world stage, and brought home GOLD for Canada. 🥇

Congratulations, Team Canada.
WORLD CHAMPIONS!

A special Thank You to Evan Gummo for being there to capture this amazing moment for Canada!

The last question may not have been recorded in our interview with the always fabulous Jackie Boulton. But, she picked Nadia as her guess for who would survive a zombie apocalypse the longest! Jackie is the team alternate and will be competing with her Standard Poodle in individuals at Groomania.

We had a little help from out furry friends during Melissa's interview! Melissa Abbott will be representing the Poodle Class in Belgium!

Artero has been providing our team with their uniforms for World's since 2017. We can't thank them enough for always making our team look so sharp in the ring! Thank you Artero Pet Care for your continued support as a Gold Sponsor for Groom Team Canada!
Melissa Abbott is starting her journey to Belgium today. So she was unable to attend this weekend.

LA Sharpening is another amazing company that has been supporting Groom Team Canada since the very beginning! We are so thankful to Angie for constantly supporting us and always graciously donating some of her amazing shears to auction off as prizes at our raffle tables.
