Saskatoon Music Festival The Saskatoon Music Festival is an annual community competitive event showcasing our best and brightest upcoming musicians from a variety of disciplines.

Every spring, students from Saskatoon and area compete in piano, strings, voice, woodwinds, brass, percussion, bands, and musical theatre.

And that’s a wrap on the Saskatoon Music Festival!

Thank you to all of our incredible competitors, dedicated teachers, and talented accompanists for making this festival such a memorable and inspiring experience. Your hard work, passion, and commitment to music truly made this event something special.

We would also like to extend a huge congratulations to all performers moving on to the provincial level of the festival at the beginning of June, we are so proud of you! Provincial letters will be sent in the next day or two, so please watch out for those!

We are so proud to celebrate all of our performers who have been selected as Canada West Winners and will go on to represent Saskatoon at the provincial level this June. This is an incredible achievement, and a true testament to your hard work, dedication, and artistry.

Join us for one of the most exciting events of the Saskatoon Music Festival!

The Kinsmen Finals Competition takes place today, May 3rd at 4:30 PM in the Quance Theatre (Education Building), University of Saskatchewan.

Featuring top competitors from across our festival:

It truly takes a village to bring a festival like this to life, and ours is something special.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our incredible volunteers who made this year’s festival possible. From adjudicator assistants, door stewards, office coordinators, file packers, programmers, to our festival committee members, set-up and strike teams, and so many others working behind the scenes, your time, energy, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

If you were awarded a scholarship at this year’s festival, musical theatre festival included, please remember to pick it up before May 3rd!

We kindly ask that all scholarships be collected by this date. If you’re unable to pick yours up personally, please make alternate arrangements.
