Although we have been rescueing since 2007, our oldest dog Hannah passed away last fall and we felt the time was right to become our own identity

Thank you to everyone that helped us get some dogs to Calgary. You are all amazing. Thanks to the APSS , Saskatoon spca and all of the rest of the volunteers that made this possible. Closing our doors was one of the hardest decisions we have made but now we can leave it to other rescues and concentrate on on the next stage of our lives and spending more time with family. . We know the dogs are with good people and they will find amazing homes where they will
Be forever loved. Thanks to everyone that supported us thru all these years and thank you to all the wonderful families that adopted from us and have the dogs all the love they deserved.

So the poor baby with all the quills did very well today . They removed all his wills and he is resting comfortably with his new foster in the community. Thank you to Tiffany for calling us and offering to keep him safe. We will get him neutered in about one month as his throat has to heal well. Thank you to everyone again for stepping up so quickly to help another stray dog. He will never be a stray again. He will only know love and kindness. This I s what Tiffany wrote.
I’m just about to take him outside. He’s been resting for the last couple of hours . Poor thing.. my dog is too excited and jumping all over him so we are keeping him quiet in the kennel for the night . My brothers are coming out tomorrow to build a temporary fence so this does not happen again. I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate all the help from each and every person who helped him get the help he needs. He’s such a gentle giant and deserves to be loved. It means so much to have you all help out. I also gave Hanna’s haven a big shout out on fb.

I got a call late last night about this poor dog. . It one of the worst porcupine injuries we have seen. He needs to be seen immed and have the quilts removed. He cannot eat or drink and is bleeding from his mouth. We can’t even get a look inside to see how far down they go . This sweetheart desperately needs your help. We need to raise funds to pay. for the vet bills which will likely be over $1000 or more. We are also going to get him neutered and shots a th e same time . UPDATE: This big guy is now with us. We weee told he was about 3montgs old turned out to be somewhere between 7-9 months as. Guess. Pictures are so deceiving. His name is now Teddie. He is absolutely adorable. He literally looks like a teddie bear. We will be contacting sone of the foster applicants today

This little guy needs to some out from the same community. Lars call him Charlie for now. He appeared at the door of the llady who trying to get them out. Smart little guy. He can be flown out on Sunday if I have a foster . Please please open your hearts to him. He is likely Scruffy””s sone we believe so he will be med - large in size but we don’t know what mana is you can message or fill out the foster application. Let get him a safe home . We are looking for blankets, towels, and harnesses. They do not have to be nee and they do t have to be perfect. Just something that the dogs and pups can lay on. We are looking for someone to pick up sone frozen meat from Humboldt and bring it to Saskatoon before Tuesday evening. If you can do this it would be so appreciated . It’s all going up north to the very hungry dogs

UPDATE. THIS SWEETHEARtT IS WITH US AND WAITING TO GO THE VET. HE IS DOING WELL AND IS ON PAIN MEDS

This pup is coming from a northern
community. He has a fractured right hip and possibly femur. Likely run down by a car. He is coming to us within the next few days. Not sure yet when but we will keep everyone updated. . He will need major surgery going ahead. And extensive rehab to walk. Say some prayers for him and all the other dogs up there.

We are doing a courtesy post for Leo. His owner has medical issues and can no longer care for him. We will be taking applications for adoption through us and then do our screening and pass them on to his owner. Leo us approx 1 1/2 years old. He us a shepherd/lab cross and is very smart. He knows how to sit , down, leave it, stay and shake a paw. He still needs a little training to know not yo try to play and jump in other dogs. He has been around other dogs but. It cats. Although he gets excited and barks at them in the window. He does pull when walking but that could be easily rectified with some training as well. UPDATE: this sweet guy , now named Rufus, went to his living foster home today. He’s one lucky dog and he deserves all the cuddling and spoiling he’s going yo get. Yay for Rufus❤️❤️

We picked up this sweetheart at the airport last night. He was so stressed poor baby. But I sat with him in our destress room and told him what a good boy he was while giving him a massage. If I stopped he would look at me like,” why are you stopping, I’m did not tell you to stop”. He closed his eyes and just relaxed. He is slowly getting to know the other dogs and one rescue, mama Bea is looking out for him.
