University of Saskatchewan Sled Dogs 1/4 Scale Tractor The Sled Dogs 1/4 Scale Tractor Team is a student run design team from the College of Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan.

Built mostly of Biological, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering students, the 1/4 Scale Tractor Team provides students with the opportunity to apply concepts learned in the classroom to a real world setting. Students gain experience through technical presentations, the design process, cost analysis, and of course hands-on understanding of the design and manufacturing processes. Attending the Am

erican Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers (ASABE) International 1/4 Scale Tractor Student Design Competition since 2002, students design and construct a fully functioning pulling unit from the ground up. Students compete in four main categories: 1) Pulling Performance, 2) Team Presentation, 3) Design Judging, and 4) Written Design Report.
