Lisa, Matt, and Bobbi were in Melfort yesterday for the Guiding Your Future and Career Employment Fair!

Lisa and Matt shared information about EmployLink and how it helps connect employers and job seekers experiencing disability. Bobbi highlighted Start With Hello and the rewarding career opportunities available in the Disability Service Sector.

It was a great opportunity to connect, answer questions, and spark conversations about inclusive employment and careers that make a difference.

The final numbers from Light It Up! For NDEAM are in, and we had the highest number of participating locations ACROSS CANADA for the second year in a row!

258 locations in 30 communities lit up and made Saskatchewan shine the brightest in the country last night!

On October 15, communities came together to Light It Up for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), celebrating the contributions of people with disabilities in the workforce and promoting inclusive employment opportunities.

Light of the Prairies was proud to participate once again this year! 💜

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to share their talents, develop their skills, and experience the pride and independence that meaningful employment can bring. By raising awareness and breaking down barriers, we can help create workplaces and communities where everyone has the opportunity to shine.
