🏆 We Are Proud of You Award Announcement

We are thrilled to announce that David Katzman will be receiving the “We Are Proud of You” Award at this year’s B’nai Brith Silver Plate Dinner on November 12th! David has made an incredible impact on our community through a lifetime of service, advocacy, and leadership.

With a career spanning over 30 years as an educator with Saskatoon Public Schools, David dedicated himself to both teaching and school leadership. In addition, he has championed anti-racism education, ensuring the history of events like the Holodomor became part of school curriculums. His efforts didn’t stop there—David served a decade as a mediator at the Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission, continuing his commitment to equality and justice.

David has also left his mark in the Jewish community and beyond. As president of Saskatoon B’nai Brith, former president of Congregation Agudas Israel, and leader of many youth and community organizations, he’s continually worked to build connections across communities. His contributions to causes such as the Children’s Hospital Foundation and Canadian Blood Services are a testament to his dedication to making a difference.
