The Confucius Institute (CI) at the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) was co-established by the University of Saskatchewan and its flagship partner Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) on June 18, 2012. The U of S Confucius Institute is a non-profit educational centre offering Chinese language and culture courses and programs for university and K-12 school students, as well as members of the ge

neral public. The CI at the U of S serves the university and the local community in four important capacities: as a classroom, a window, a platform, and a bridge.
