Today we recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The day honours the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities. Our team wore orange shirts in remembrance on September 29th as we will be closed on September 30th, enabling our team to participate in activities honouring National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Here are two events happening in Saskatoon to honor National Day for Truth and Reconciliation:
1. Every Child Matters Powwow – Sep 29 and Sep 30 – SaskTel Centre – hosted by Saskatoon Tribal Council – no cost to attend
2. Wanuskewin Heritage Park - Sep 30 – Truth and Reconciliation Gathering 10:00 am
Please consider attending one of the events above and wearing orange that day.

You can also explore ConnectR, a website created by Reconciliation Saskatoon. ConnectR – is an online tool designed to help residents choose their own path towards reconciliation. The Reconciliation Challenge is a commitment to start or continue a journey of reconciliation by using the BeAConnectR.com website to learn more about Indigenous peoples' past and present experiences. Visitors to the site are offered different paths to start their journey of reconciliation.
