About Us
The Saskatoon Problem Gambling Committee is comprised of individuals representing diverse agencies and interest groups. Members include representatives from the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Whitecap Dakota Health Centre, Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority (SIGA), the Salvation Army, Brief and Social Detox, Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA), the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations (FSIN), Gambler’s Anonymous, and interested community members.
We meet bi-monthly to discuss emerging trends in the field of gaming, share concerns about problem gambling issues, explore new prevention initiatives, and to plan outreach and educational events.
