Joy’s Centre was founded by Ms. Maureen Torr in honour of her mother who loved and cared for

Joy's Centre's Objectives are to:
provide emotional and psycho-social support to orphans and other vulnerable children with particular focus on gender equality;
increase the level of literacy among orphans by enrolling them in schools;
establish a mechanism of sourcing for and providing help to the orphans and vulnerable children so as to improve their livelihood;
contribute to poverty reduction in the community; and,
contribute to national human capital development.
