The River Volta Reading Series

We are a literary reading series in Saskatoon run by the students of the MFA in Writing program at the University of Saskatchewan.

Every month we have featured readers and an open mic! Welcome to The River Volta Reading Series! We're a reading series in Saskatoon run by graduate students from the MFA in Writing program at the U of S. The series was founded in 2013 by Sara-Jane Goutnez and Chelsea Forbes. Our focus is on literary poetry and short fiction. Be sure to check us out and support literature in Saskatoon.
