Saturday night zabava featuring !!🤍

PFE could not host our showcase year after year (for twenty years) if not for our incredible community support. It is because of each and every volunteer, dancer, instructor, dance parent, adjudicator, director, choreographer, vendor, and audience goer that we are able to make our festival happen. We don’t have the words to properly express how grateful we are for every individual that attends or touches Showcase in any aspect - you all are what makes PFE Dance Showcase truly wonderful.

We would like to take a moment to thank our major sponsors; Ukrainian Canadian Congress Saskatchewan, the Stephen and Michelene Worobetz Foundaton, the City of Saskatoon, and Sask Lotteries!

To our incredible adjudicators, Kristina Frykas and Vasyl Kanevets - we cannot thank you enough for your time, your knowledge, and your passion for growing young dancers. Thank you for making the (cold) journey to Saskatoon to share your expertise with us!

And to all the dancers that competed and performed this weekend - you should all be so proud. You each brought something special and unique to the stage, and it is always so much fun to watch so much different choreography and styles over the course of several days🩷

There is no greater joy than being able to share the love of Ukrainian dance and culture with such a diverse, talented, and passionate community year after year.

Thank you all. Here’s to the next 20 years🇺🇦

A quick photo from our LAST adjudication session this afternoon🥹 After five long days filled with blood, sweat, and tears (and snowstorms!), we humbly close the curtains on PFE Dance Showcase 2026!

There are more words to come, but for now, we would like to thank our adjudicators, volunteers, and vendors - as well as each and every dancer, dance parent, and loved ones that contributed to this festival and a wonderful celebration of Ukrainian dance and culture!

Drive safe, stretch well, and enjoy a very well earned sleep!✨🫶🏼

Postmark Ukraine , founded by PFE alumna Lana Niland, PU was born out of a desire to contribute to the Ukrainian economy during times of need. An inspiration to so many dancers and people, near and far, we’re proud to have Postmark Ukraine join our festival again this year🩵

Bodysuits with resolve, tracksuits with purpose, shoes and boots that don’t just look good on stage - but actually make you better dancers. These are just a few of the things we’ll have on hand at PFE Showcase this year.

To say this 2025/2026 season was difficult is an understatement. It was next-to-impossibly hard.
No electricity, no hot water, no gas, no connection - for hours and hours at a time. Air raid sirens that scream every time something big and heavy flies through the sky, hoping to land and kill. Darkness. Other than the light of candles, of the moon at night, of hope that came so close to dwindling for good.

You - our Postmark family, carry these moments sewn into your costumes; the prayers of women who worked in cold workshops, under the hum of generators willing their machines to work; the songs they sung as fingers weaved ribbons that finish each design. Every time you go on stage this season and beyond - you are not just wearing wool and linen beautifully adorned; you wear a piece of history.

From all of us at Postmark Ukraine: Kyiv to Lviv; Kharkiv to Khmelnytskyi; Dnipro to Dubno; including those of us beyond its borders - we thank you for sticking with us during these dark days.

You are a part of the light that is helping Ukraine find its way to victory. We are so very
grateful. And we bow so very deeply.
