Bridgers Club met on Tuesday, May 26, to hear Kesha's icebreaker speech, in which she told us she turned what some consider weaknesses into her strengths. Her speech was called "My brain has 37 tabs open." Our meeting theme was "moments of silence." Our word of the evening was "luddite." Club president-elect Tonny chaired the meeting. He asked us to give the name of our favourite speaker during our introductions. As a first-time Table Topics Master, Narges posed thought-provoking questions about silence and listening.

At the May 5, 2026, meeting of Bridgers Toastmasters we heard Narges explain ways to achieve personal goals in her level one speech. Next, for a Pathways level five project, Tass conducted a panel discussion about club officer roles in preparation for our May 19 elections. Many thanks to our visiting Area E2 director, Alison, for her report on the District 99 convention in Edmonton where she saw Tass and Tonny give amazing speeches as they competed in district speech contests.

April 21st Meeting. Tuesday @ 6:30 P.M.
The oldest games were often seen as more than just play; they were sometimes used to predict the future or communicate with the divine.

A hidden gem is something—or someone—possessing outstanding quality or beauty that is not widely known or noticed. In the context of our personal growth, a hidden gem might be a micro-skill, a story of resilience, and the unsung hero.
