🚗 THE STORY BEHIND THE KINSMEN CAR AWARDS 🚗
Hi everyone, my name is Jeremy, and I had the honour of serving as the Chair of the Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon’s 2026 Car Awards.
I wanted to take a moment to share why this fundraiser means so much to us as Kinsmen, and why we put so much time and effort into making this event happen.
The Kinsmen Club of Saskatoon was founded in 1928 with a simple mission:
Serve the community’s greatest needs.
Just one year later, in 1929, the first Kinsmen Car Awards were held, with a brand-new Ford Model A as the grand prize. Nearly 100 years later, that tradition is still going strong — and the Car Awards have helped generate more than $13 million for the Saskatoon community.
But the Car Awards are about much more than cars.
❤️ They’re about kids.
Through the Kinsmen Football League, Kinsmen Hockey League and Kinsmen Lacrosse League, kids across Saskatoon have the opportunity to get involved in sports, build confidence, learn teamwork, make friends and, most importantly, just be kids.
The Kinsmen also support organizations and initiatives including the Saskatoon Food Bank, Saskatoon Search and Rescue, Hope Cancer Help Centre, Ability in Motion, Elmwood Residences, playground projects, scholarships and many other community causes.
So yes, you could win a pretty damn cool car...
🏁 But every ticket also helps us give back to Saskatoon.
And this year’s prize is something pretty special:

A beautiful piece of automotive history and, hopefully, someone’s new favourite vehicle.

And finally, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, volunteered, promoted the event, or supported the Kinsmen in any way.
Every ticket helps us continue a tradition that started in 1928.
