Join us on June 5 from 11–3 at M&M Food Market on 8th Street for good food, good vibes, and great community spirit! $5.00 will get you a burger, drink and a bag of chips thanks to the support of our sponsorship team! We will also be running a draw for a Family Fun Summer Package 😎

Once again, the Annual Spring Art Show at Evergreen ELC was a great success this year. The event highlighted the children’s creativity, imagination, and self-expression through a variety of meaningful art experiences and displays. Families had the opportunity to walk through the centre, view the children’s artwork, and celebrate their learning and accomplishments together. The art show also created a welcoming space for families, children, and educators to connect and strengthen relationships with one another.

We are so proud of our little artists and grateful for the ongoing support from our amazing Evergreen community!

During the month of April, five White Buffalo Youth Council members donated their time and the use of the White Buffalo Makerspace to make lightsaber parts for the kids at BGC Saskatoon’s Neighborhood Clubs. More than 80 Club kids at Pleasant Hill, Confederation Park, and White Buffalo had the opportunity to build and paint their own custom lightsabers for Star Wars Day on May 4th.

Despite our staff’s best efforts, it appears that two thirds of participants have fallen to the dark side.

This month at our Martensville ELC we got a visit from a real live cowboy. Just across the parking lot from us is a farm with lots of horses. We watch them exercising all the time. A cowboy from that farm came to visit with the chuck wagon that they race competitively on the rodeo circuit. He wasn't able to bring any horses though; they were too busy with training.
