We provide pre- and post-adoption support services in Saskatchewan, as well as support for all forms of permanency including legal guardianship, Person of Sufficient Interest (PSI), and kinship care. The Evermore Centre (formerly Adoption Support Centre of Saskatchewan) is the primary adoption information and resource centre in Saskatchewan. We provide pre- and post-adoption support services, as w

ell as support for all forms of permanency including legal guardianship, Person of Sufficient Interest (PSI), and kinship care. We offer support and referral services to:

-Birth parents who are looking into planning options for their child

-Prospective parents who are considering domestic, private, step-parent, adult, or international adoption

-Adoptive parents who need information and support

-Adoptees who are searching for birth parents or working through issues related to their adoption

-Extended family or community who need adoption information and services

-Professionals who work in fields related to child welfare, foster care, and adoption

-Students who are doing research related to adoption

-Schools, community organizations and other institutions who are interested in education related to adoption issues such as birth parent rights, open adoption, adoption competency in counselling, parenting adopted children, and much more!

The Evermore Centre is currently seeking a minimum of 2 volunteers to join our board of directors.

We welcome applications from individuals across the province who have a passion for our mission of supporting permanency and empowering families through education, programs and services, and who bring skills and experience to meet our current needs.

Applicants must be open to considering a role as Chair or Vice Chair and have understanding of board governance, with previous board participation experience.
