We are so excited to present our new logo!

The logo features a stylized sunflower rising like the morning sun, symbolizing renewal and celebration. Its base, shaped like a meadow with a flowing river, reflects the beauty of the prairies and the city of Saskatoon. The Tryzub and Maple Leaf unite the national symbols of Ukraine and Canada, celebrating the vibrant spirit of the Ukrainian diaspora. Colours inspired by the Ukrainian and Saskatchewan flags highlight this shared cultural connection.

Can’t wait to see everyone August 29th to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The countdown is on!

Today, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine around the world mark the Day of the Tryzub (Coat of Arms of Ukraine) — the State Emblem of Ukraine. 💙💛

On February 19, 1992, the Tryzub was officially adopted as a national symbol of independent Ukraine. Its history, however, stretches back thousands of years. The word “WILL” (freedom) is said to be encoded within its form — a deeply symbolic reflection of Ukraine’s spirit.

Freedom has always lived in the hearts of Ukrainians. Our ancestors fought for it, and it is what we continue to defend today.

Let us take pride and honor Ukraine’s centuries-old heritage. Glory to Ukraine!
____________

Saskatoon, your fresh Weekend Guide is LIVE!

But before you tap away to read it (link below👇), I need to ask you something.

I'd like to know if there's been an event you've discovered through one of my guides that you wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Did you try something new? Take your kids somewhere unexpected? Plan a date night? Reference it while a friend is in town?

TIA for playing along. 💕 Many volunteer hours go into these lists & knowing that you're actually using them is what keeps ms going!

🥰 Maygen

P.s. This title image is a hint at an event on this weekend's guide... I'll share a reel with more info on it later today! 😁
