NASHI Our Children NASHI is a volunteer based non-profit organization dedicated to diverting youth from human trafficking.

Human trafficking is modern day slavery and is one of the greatest travesties of the 21st century. NASHI believes that Human Trafficking destroys human dignity. By raising awareness and finding concrete solutions for the vulnerable, we can make a difference. Currently our focus is education and awareness locally, and the building of an educational live-in center in Ukraine for youth at risk of being trafficked. We believe each of us can become a solution to this problem often by joining forces with organizations who indeed are TAKING ACTION.

Bio for lunch musician Martina: who will be at our Human Trafficking Conference in Saskatoon on Oct 24!

A songwriter, acoustic performer, and sound creator based in Saskatoon, SK, Martina at a young age, began using writing as a survival tool, to make sense of both the world around her, and internally. It wasn't until an older age when she bought her first guitar, and started bringing decades of lyric writing to life . With an innate curiosity for how things work, she enjoys exploring instruments, performing, and tracking sound, and continues to add to her digital releases. Her performances include originals and covers in multiple genres, storytelling and humour, to encourage strength and perseverance, through music's ability to both entertain, heal, and bring change.
