The University of Saskatchewan WUSC Local Committee is an active founder and participant of the Student Refugee Program (SRP) initiative, which has helped sponsor young refugee students to Canada for over 35 years. We provide hope, resources and access to post-secondary education at Canadian universities, colleges and/or cégeps. Canadian university, college and cégep students are the driving force behind the SRP, which is why we would love for you to join our WUSC U of S Local Committee!

We are looking for some passionate volunteers to join our local community. If you think you are ready for leadership, achieving great experience, making an impact in our local community, supporting refugees, and helping them achieve equal education opportunities, you can be one of the executives of WUSC for the upcoming year (2026-2027).
