✨ STA Member of the Month nominee! ✨

We wanted to give a special shoutout to our Member of the Month nominee, Shaina Manning!

Shaina’s nominator says:

Shaina is the most caring, gentle, and supportive teacher. She loves her students so much and sees the best in them always. Shaina continues to put others first before herself. She goes above and beyond for every single student, staff, and friends. Shaina is always there when you need advice, a good cry, or ideas. She is so inspiring and she deserves nothing but the best.

A little fun fact about our Member of the Month is that Shaina is obsessed with Wicked! She decorated her classroom pink and green because of it!

Know a colleague who deserves a shoutout?
Nominate them through the link in our Instagram bio or on our website: saskatoonteachers.ca. They will be entered into a draw!

🗣️ YOU ASK. WE ASK.

Got a question about what was discussed at the LINC table?

Wondering how something affects your school, your workload, your prep time, LAT responsibilities, or your day-to-day work?

👉 Send your questions to your SSR.

Your SSRs will bring member questions forward at the Representative Assembly meeting on Wednesday, September 23, where SSRs will be working through FAQs from their staff.

So don’t sit there thinking, “I wonder if anyone else is wondering this…” 👀

Ask.

📩 Talk to your SSR and get your questions on the list.

Because there are no bad questions—only questions we haven’t asked yet. 😉
