Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.

This day is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and honour the strength, resilience, and leadership of Indigenous communities, both past and present.

At YWCA Saskatoon, we remain committed to advancing Truth and Reconciliation through meaningful relationships, ongoing learning, and actions that foster respect, inclusion, and equity for all.

First Aid training is an important skill that can make a difference in a life-threatening emergency. At the YWCA, we value safety and believe everyone should have the knowledge and confidence to respond when it matters most.

Whether you're looking to gain a new skill, meet workplace requirements, or help protect your loved ones, First Aid/CPR training is a great investment.

This National Indigenous History Month, we are taking time to learn, listen, and reflect on the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. It is an important opportunity to deepen our understanding, honour Indigenous voices, and continue the journey toward reconciliation.

Throughout the month and beyond, we encourage our community to learn about Indigenous histories, amplify Indigenous voices, and recognize the enduring contributions Indigenous peoples have made and continue to make across Canada.

At YWCA Saskatoon, we are committed to fostering respect, understanding, and meaningful relationships within our community.
