We are so sorry to announce that today's Gutsy Walk in SASKATOON has been cancelled due to unsafe air quality. Everyone's health is the top priority, and having everyone come out in this smoke is simply not worth the risks.

What can you do today?
Please consider dropping by the Best Western Plus East Side breakfast room (3331 8th St E in Saskatoon) TODAY between 11:30am-1:00pm in order to:
- collect your GW t-shirt and rewards if eligible
- drop off off-line donations
- connect with others in the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) community and share your stories

What else can you do?
PLAN YOUR OWN WALK when the air is safe again! Many participants will choose to revisit the DIY independent walk that was carried out during Covid times. I know I'll be walking/running the 5km circuit I used during Covid, and I'll be inviting my friends and family to join me in the near future. Let's make the most of this unfortunate situation and still earn the pledges we received for Gutsy Walk 2025!

Our hearts are very heavy and our thoughts are with those displaced and impacted by the horrific wildfires in northern Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Manitoba.
