🚨 It’s time to speak up for childcare in Saskatchewan 🚨

The recent changes to the childcare agreement—and how funding is being distributed—are going to have real, immediate impacts on centres, educators, and families. Many centres are facing tough decisions that could affect staffing, quality of care, and ultimately the spaces available for children in our communities.

We cannot stay quiet.

We need to come together and reach out to our MLA’s. Share your stories. Explain how these changes will affect your centre, your staff, and the families you serve. Decision-makers need to hear directly from the people on the front lines of childcare.

Childcare is not just a service—it’s the backbone of our communities, supporting working families and early childhood development.

We need to get out and ADVOCATE!!

This isn’t just about centres and home daycares — this is going to have a major impact on families AND the incredible staff who care for our children every day.

Dream Big Child Care Inc. Rocanville director and child Care Now Saskatchewan Chair Cara Werner is planning an emergency meeting in Rocanville, SK on May 13th at 6pm.
"Our centre and other Centres across Saskatchewan are struggling already due to the inadequate funding model, now these new changes to the agreement by the Saskatchewan Government will make sustainability even more impossible for Centres. Join us for an emergency meeting at the Rocanville Nutrien Community Hall on May 13th at 6pm. We will explain what this means for businesses, communities, families, and Childcare Centres moving forward if nothing changes. We will have a discussion so everyone can voice their concerns and discuss a plan for the future.
