Mothers Empowering Mothers Inc is a local postpartum support group. Our goals are to meet on a monthly basis (potentially more frequently depending on demand). This is a safe place for all mothers, at any point in their postpartum journey, to get together and hold space for one another without judgement! To talk about the demands of motherhood, the isolation, our thought processes, our relationshi
ps and so much more. We will have resources available, and plan to bring in local educators (breastfeeding, babywearing, and more. A warm, inviting space where mothers can get together and vent, cry and hold space for each other. When we know better, we do better. There won't be any questionnaires, no preregistration , no pressure. A drop in group that will be there for you when you need it. A certified birth worker will be available 24/7 by telephone to hold space for anyone that needs it.
