We’re grateful to Community Initiatives Fund for their generous support of our Reintegration Circles program.

Because of this contribution, individuals returning to the community have access to consistent, community-based support throughout their reintegration journey. Through Reintegration Circles, core members build practical life skills, strengthen social connections, and develop the confidence needed to navigate life beyond the justice system.

This kind of long-term, relationship-based support plays a vital role in reducing recidivism and fostering safer, more inclusive communities for everyone. Thank you for helping make this work possible!

The Micah Mission Board of Directors is delighted to host An Evening of Appreciation on Tuesday, March 31 - a gathering to celebrate the volunteers and community partners who make our transformative work possible.

Your generosity of time, presence, and compassion creates spaces of accountability, healing, and hope. Through your commitment, individuals are supported in meaningful reintegration and our community becomes safer, stronger, and more connected. This work of restoration and relationship simply would not happen without you.

We will also be celebrating the incredible contributions of our Executive Director, Adriana Appleton, and Reintegration Support Worker, Aysha Aziz, as we bid them farewell. Their leadership, care, and steadfast belief in the power of restorative justice have shaped lives, strengthened partnerships, and deepened our collective impact.

Date: March 31
Time: 7:00 p.m. (Program begins at 7:45 p.m.)
Location: Wildwood Mennonite Church (1502 Acadia Drive)
Please RSVP in the LinkTree in our bio by March 25

Join us as we celebrate community, honour meaningful contributions, and share gratitude for the restorative work we do together.🤗

Micah Mission is hiring an Interim Executive Director (6-month contract).

After more than 10 years with Micah - starting as a volunteer, then serving as CoSA Coordinator, and most recently as Executive Director - Adriana and her family are moving out of province.

Micah is entering a period of transition, and we are seeking a steady, values-aligned leader to support our programs, volunteers, and community relationships during this time. This interim role blends organizational leadership with hands-on program support and is ideal for someone grounded in restorative justice and relational work.

Circles of Support and Accountability (CoSA) is a program for individuals who have been recently incarcerated and seek out support in living a successful and crime-free life.

Community members come together to create a circle to benefit both the individual and the community at large! By promoting public safety at the micro level, CoSA supports both learning and understanding.
