Hi everyone! We will be having a FREE private yoga class at Pure Living Yoga on June 21 at 4-5pm! This class is led by Joanne, a yoga instructor and physical therapy student who some of you have met at recent Who Needs 20 meetings. This will be a chair yoga class, which means we will be sitting the entire time! Expect stretching and relaxation, adaptable and accessible to everyone!

Please comment on this post or message us directly to RVSP by June 18. Feel free to bring a spouse, friend, child - open to everyone! Can't wait to see you there!!

Hi Everyone
I hope you have a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather. I'm still working on a meeting location for our WN20 meetings. I'm looking for a convenient place with accessible parking that doesn't charge a huge fee. I'm also putting in a grant so if there is a fee, I'll be able to cover it. So.. in the meantime, if you know of anyplace please let me know.

Also.... I'm part of a study for people with lower extremity limb loss to learn and lead some physical activity. Ahead is the description.... it would be great to get some Saskatchewan representation... If anyone is interested, you can contact: [email protected].

Be well
Audrey

Hi Everyone. I hope you are enjoying this great weather and hopefully we will see a partial (49%) eclipse today.... I say hope because it was quite cloudy on my walk in this morning. Anyway.... I received a zoom meeting invitation from the Amputee Coalition to learn about TSA rules and regulations for people who travel while wearing prostheses. I thought some of you might like to listen/learn. It's scheduled for 2pm GMT today.

I was contacted by a casting agent (Evan Jenkins (306) 380-9716; [email protected]) who is filming an educational video for SaskAbilities. They are looking for a person with upper extremity limb loss. I don't have much more information other than they are looking for someone quickly

Hi Everyone... I hope you are enjoying these beautiful summer days. I'll be heading to Orlando on Wednesday with two students for the Amputee Coalition of America's Annual conference. Soni is going to join me there and hopefully the Amputee Coalition of Canada will have some representatives. I'll post some photos of our adventures and let you know of interesting findings.

Hi all
I'm teaching the UofS PT students care for the person with limb loss. They would benefit from first hand accounts/ what works/ what doesn't etc. Let me know if you are interested in coming to class on Monday, May 1 in the afternoon. You can give me a call:(306) 371-5462, e-mail: [email protected], or just message me on FB. I know the students would appreciate it.

We have a new member... Hi Phillip! He introduced me to CosiTalks.... She is a PT, Cosi Belloso, in the states who has lots of experience working with people with limb loss..... I highly recommend taking a peak at her you tube talks. She is very energetic and gives sound advice with guests from industry on some episodes. Just a FYI
