➡️ What an incredible past weekend at the 5th Annual YXE First Responders Fitness Festival in Saskatoon!

We were proud to attend as a vendor and be part of such a meaningful event that brings our first responder community together while raising funds to support mental health initiatives and kids’ sports! 💙

At Black Shield Design, we also had the honour of designing and supplying this year’s festival medals, making it even more special to see the athletes proudly wearing them!

🥇 A huge congratulations to Team ER on taking home the championship title!

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, athletes, and everyone who helped make this event such a success. We were honoured to be part of it and support such great causes!

One of the highlights of this year’s YXE First Responders Fitness Festival was an impromptu visit from the Honourable Alana Ross Sunday afternoon.

As a former front-line nurse, Minister Ross knows all to well the effects being a first responder can have on a person and understands the importance of promoting a physical lifestyle as well as prioritizing mental health among all first responders and emergency services workers.

Now as the YXEFRFF shifts to a Foundation model with the creation of the YXE First Responders Foundation, these are important relationships to forge as we chart a new path forward and strive to be an integral part of the community and province we serve and live in.

Thank you, Minister Ross, for taking the time out to take in our event and experience what the YXEFRFF is all about.

DAY 1 = DONE!

30 seconds does NOT do this day justice.

The energy. The competition. The chaos. The teamwork. The moments that had everyone on their feet.

Police, Fire, Paramedics, Air Transport, ER & RCMP left it all out there today and tomorrow, we do it all over again! 😉

Day 1 was one for the books.

And trust us… you’re going to want to see what Day 2 brings!! We are turning up the heat AND we have some exciting news to share!!!
