If you have experienced workplace sexual harassment, it doesn’t matter how long ago the incident occurred. You can apply for up to 4 hours of legal advice; our program is available to individuals of any age or gender, regardless of income.

If you’re uncertain whether you’ve experienced workplace sexual harassment you can still receive a referral for free legal advice. A lawyer can help you understand and make an informed decision about your options and next steps.

Thanks for being such a great partner! This was a wonderful session. Anybody looking for more information on the SHIFT program can visit shift.plea.org

Our ongoing partnership with The SHIFT Project, a program by PLEA - Public Legal Education Association Saskatchewan is an important part of our strategy to keep Saskatchewan workplaces safe. The SHIFT Project’s team of passionate lawyers provides Saskatchewan workers who have experienced sexual violence at their job up to four hours of free legal advice.

This week, we supported the SHIFT team by hosting a 90-minute workshop led by Dr. Julie Macfarlane, Emerita Distinguished University Professor of Law and Co-Founder of Can't Buy My Silence Canada. Dr. Macfarlane taught on the “creep” of non-disclosure agreements (or NDAs)
from their original use to protect legitimate trade secrets and client confidentiality to any
information that might cause embarrassment to an employer or institution - including sexual assault and harassment, how NDAs harm survivors, and how SHIFT lawyers can support workers who are being pressured into signing them.

Thank you, SHIFT lawyers and Dr. Macfarlane, for your commitment to workers’ access to justice!
