Take a look at this video summarizing the events of the day. There were so many great speakers and storytellers, and we're grateful for everyone who gave their time to deepen our knowledge and our relationships with each other.

The Seniors Social Hub Club has officially wrapped up for the year, and it was a true success! We saw great attendance for our biweekly events, full of friendship, movement, and fun.

Thank you to the volunteers who make this program possible. To the coordinators and supporters, we couldn't have done it without you. Thank you also to Minister of Seniors, Minister Carr, we appreciate your support! Thank you to our Government funders, and everyone who contributed to the program.

Finally, a huge thank you to Deju | YXE Wellness Guru (Deju Akanji) our program instructor. Your creativity and passion made the Seniors Hub Club a wonderful place to build community!

We all come from different backgrounds and we're thankful for this opportunity to connect and learn from one another.

We hope to continue this again next year! Watch for updates.

Huge thank you to everyone who came to the Truth and Reconciliation Sharing Circle Event this past Saturday in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 2026. It was a rich day full of learning and sharing. Here's what one participant shared with us afterward:

"I really should wait to say this to you in person, but I am too excited, I must share! The Leaders today, the young folk who organized and hosted a moving and powerful event, they did a fantastic job. Many organizations should learn from PBA: developing, encouraging, and creating Leading Spaces for the generation of today! Thank you, PBA. 😀"

We also want to give a big thank you to our sponsors and partners for this event. We couldn't have done this without you!

The Seniors Social Hub Club has been a wonderful initiative again this year! We've seen great attendance through our May-September season, and we’re grateful to all who joined us for our biweekly events. We're happy to report that the results of this program have continued to be very positive, thanks in no small part to the commitment and support from our community.

The program is winding down for the season, but we’ve enjoyed creating a welcoming and inclusive space for seniors to connect, build friendships, and stay active in the community. Through wellness workshops, snacks, and light fitness and movement classes, we showed our appreciation for our seniors and all the value that they contribute to our lives.

Thank you to the volunteers who make this program possible. Have a great year!
