Today, we had the opportunity to meet with Hon. Eric Schmalz to introduce SAISIA and discuss how we can strengthen Saskatchewan’s immigration and workforce systems 🤝

As the provincial umbrella organization for immigrant-serving agencies, SAISIA plays a key role in supporting settlement, employment, and integration services across the province.

With immigration driving Saskatchewan’s labour market and population growth, strong and coordinated support systems are more important than ever—especially in rural and northern communities.

We discussed the need for a provincial partnership to strengthen sector capacity, improve newcomer retention, and better align with workforce priorities.

Looking forward to continued collaboration in building a more connected, responsive, and inclusive Saskatchewan.
