Saskatchewan has been home to Ukrainians for over a hundred years and has a vibrant and supportive Ukrainian community. We are offering help and support to the new Ukrainians in Canada during this difficult time. We can provide information and help with finding accommodations, obtaining documents, searching for school and employment, translation services, and providing other support as necessary. Please note that we will not provide immigration advice services and will not answer questions related to immigration.

UKRAINIAN CANADIAN CONGRESS OF SASKATCHEWAN IS HIRING!
Youth Community Outreach & Animator

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress of Saskatchewan is seeking a youth applicant (17-30 years) for the following 8-week full-time summer job opportunity.

The Youth Community Outreach & Animator will meet and network with displaced Ukrainians and Ukrainian community members in Saskatchewan communities, as well as non-profit organizations, cultural practitioners, and leaders.

The goal is to help facilitate connections. They will conduct interviews with displaced Ukrainians to share their experiences of leaving their homeland due to the russian invasion, then arriving and finding refuge in Saskatchewan. Animators will use some of the interviews to create social media posts and videos (long and short) for use across various social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.). The goal is to highlight the experiences of both displaced Ukrainians and the cultural work/activities taking place in these communities in order to support newcomer integration.

Position: Full-time
Hours: 35 hours/week, with some evening and weekend work required.
Compensation: 17$ / hour plus travel expenses.
Application deadline: Monday, 29 June 2026 or until position is filled.
Term: week of 06 July 2026 to Monday 31 August 2026
Location: Regina or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
Eligibility: Eligible applicants must be between 17 & 30 yrs, must reside in Saskatchewan, and be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have refugee status. CUAET study or work permit-holders are not eligible.

English Language Training Coordinator

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress of Saskatchewan is seeking an experienced, outgoing, motivated, well-organized, innovative, I/T savvy, and highly skilled individual to lead our English language training team.

Successful candidates for this full-time term position will have teaching and program coordination experience, may have been language learners, worked in adult education environments, have a passion for helping others succeed, and be strong supporters of multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusivity. They have problem-solving minds, strong networking skills, and are creative in their approaches to learning and teaching while focused on achieving program deliverables, thereby advancing UCC Saskatchewan’s English for Employment program.

Position: Full-time
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work required.
Compensation: UCC Saskatchewan offers a competitive compensation package including a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress of Saskatchewan is currently seeking a creative and detail‑oriented Communications & Community Engagement Coordinator who is passionate about using their communications, social media, networking, and volunteer engagement skills to contribute to positive community building in Saskatchewan’s Ukrainian community. This role supports day‑to‑day digital communications, including content creation, design, and email marketing. Time management, graphic design, and strong communication skills are essential.

The Coordinator is responsible for engaging with and strengthening UCC Saskatchewan’s relationships with our members, supporters, and stakeholders. This role focuses on outreach, partnership development, networking event coordination, and ensuring an inclusive approach to engaging community voices in programs and decision-making processes.

Position: Full-time
Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work required.

Camp Trident 2026 Registration Update
Good news! Camp Trident has removed the late registration fee increase for the 2026 camp season. If you missed the original registration deadline, you can still register your child at the regular fee of $575.
We still have spaces available and would hate for anyone to miss out on what promises to be a fantastic summer experience.
We work hard to keep camp fees as affordable as possible thanks to the generous support of donations and grants.
With everyday expenses continuing to rise, we understand that the cost of sending your child to camp may be a concern for some families. We want to ensure that every camper has the opportunity to attend Camp Trident. We are happy to help and can offer the following options:
• Flexible payment plans
• Information on available financial assistance programs

• об’єднати українських донорів у єдину національну команду;
• подякувати Канаді конкретними добрими справами за підтримку українців;
• формувати позитивний імідж української громади через волонтерство та суспільно корисні ініціативи.
