Alhamdulillah, with the new rickshaw, he now has lists of students ready to enroll again.

This small act has revived his livelihood and ensured that children can continue their education with ease. May Allah accept this as sadaqah jariyah for everyone who contributed.

وَلَمۡ نَكُ نُطۡعِمُ الۡمِسۡكِيۡنَ

(74:44) and we did not feed the poor,34
34. This shows how grave a sin it is in Islam to see a hungry man and fail to feed him even if one can, for this has been particularly mentioned as one of the causes of going to Hell.

42) “What has landed you in Hell?” (43) They will reply, “We were not of those who prayed, (44) nor did we feed the poor.

📌 Rickshaw Support for a Brother in Crisis

We are assisting a brother who is currently facing extremely difficult circumstances. His mother is critically ill, and he is her only caregiver. At the same time, his wife has left him, leaving him to manage both his mother’s care and his own livelihood alone.

To earn a living, he had been driving a rickshaw on lease. However, due to his mother’s worsening condition, he cannot leave her unattended for long hours. As a result, he fell behind on lease payments, and the rickshaw was taken back.

This has left him with no source of income at a time when he needs stability the most.
We are planning to purchase a rickshaw for him, so he can work flexible hours and balance caregiving responsibilities without the pressure of lease payments. This will allow him to manage his time according to his mother’s needs while still earning enough to survive.

This initiative is zakat‑eligible and will provide him with dignity, independence, and the ability to care for his family during an incredibly challenging period.
