Check out our October schedule! We have a lot of fun, new things happening at FAM this year.

Next week, Oct 5th, the music studio will be open but the art studio will be closed as the youth will be "out of office" (😝) as we visit our friends over at Makerspace. Pre-registratiom required. ***All spaces have been filled***

Thanks to Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre, we will be introducing monthly cooking classes where the youth can try some new recipes and learn some new skills! Pls join us in making personalized pasta + sauce, ceasar salad, and a parfait-style dessert.

And finally, to celebrate spooky season, we will have a Halloween party + pumpkin carving/painting. We will also have some games and prizes. Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory.

All programming is free for youth and young adults ages 13-29. Snacks and drinks provided.

905 20th Street West.

Please share this post with someone you think might be interested in joining a creative, inclusive community.

See you in October,
FAM Team 👻

Summer is just around the corner and programming will be slowing down, so we want to help prepare the youth who will be spending their time in the workforce by helping them stay informed about their rights in the workplace!

Graham Mitchell is the Organizing Director at SEIU-West, the union that represents thousands of workers in community organizations, childcare and education, and healthcare.

His presentation will focus on the rights of young people in the workplace and how you can fight for power, better wages and conditions, and fairness at work.

Please join us for this brief information session and bring any questions you might have!

***Regular programming will resume after the presentation!***
