The work of Sarnia artist Peg Kivi is featured in an exhibit in the Turret Room of the Lawrence House. She currently works in watercolour and acrylics. Her watercolours are loose, subtle and atmospheric; her acrylics are layered, rich and textural. She has received two Arts Council Awards and her work may be found in many public and private collections around the world. The Lawrence House is open Wednesday to Sunday 11:00-4:00.

Two great exhibitions open First Friday at the Lawrence House.
The Sarnia Artists’ Workshop Annual awards show is in the main Gallery and Peg Kivi is exhibiting a collection of her exciting art in the Turret Gallery.

Moses Art presents about the Paint Nights that he hosts in our Development and Networking Program for Artists on Tuesday, September 22nd at 6 PM. His talk will followed by a Q&A and time for networking. It is free to attend and all artists are welcome!
Moses is an Anishinaabe artist from Kettle & Stony point, where he owns LUNHAM'S Arts & Crafts. He has many commissioned murals in private and public spaces throughout Southwestern Ontario including Point Pelee National Park. He is also well known for his Paint Nights where participants learn to paint, and create their own painting under his tutelage.
The support of the County of Lambton Creative County Grant Program is gratefully acknowledged.

Open Stage hosted by Jonathan Chamberlain in the Turret Room:
Monday, September 21st at 7 p.m.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
Admission is free. Musicians, poets, storytellers, and writers are welcome to the microphone to perform in a quiet intimate setting with amazing acoustics and an attentive and supportive audience. The House piano and guitar are available for performers to use. Audience members who enjoy music and words are welcome to listen!
