It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day tomorrow! Join us at the Lawrence House for our annual First Nations Festival on the Lawn . There will be music and artists booths. It will also be a great opportunity to visit the House and see the “ Three Fires by the Water” First Nations art exhibition which will continue through the month of June.

Unfortunately the predicted rain and possible thunderstorms means not tonight! The Forest excelsior Band regrets that due to the weather we can' t risk the music and instruments. So no concert tonight. Sorry folks. Next time is later this month Wednesday at Kenwick on the Lake Park. Wednesday June 24th 7pm

Sunday, June 7th, noon - 4 PM please visit our annual Niswi Ishkoden Niibiing / Three Fires by the Water First Nations Festival on the Lawn Sunday from noon - 4:00 PM. The festival will feature singing and drumming by E'mnotaagzijig / Sounding Harmonious Together and the Chippewa Point Singers, as well as First Nations artists' booths with beadwork, jewellery, sweetgrass, paintings, t-shirts, cards and much more...

Note: there will be a dedication of the Veteran's Crosswalk at Christina and Wellington Streets at 2 PM. If you are planning to attend that, consider coming downtown early to catch the festivities at the Lawrence House!

Sarnia First Friday please come out to The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts for the opening of our Niswi Ishkoden Niibiing / Three Fires by the Water First Nations art exhibition! Meet the artists from Aamjiwnaang, Kettle and Stony Point, and Walpole Island First Nations. Music will be provided by the Forest Excelsior Band outside on the lawn from 7:00 - 8:30 PM.

The Lawrence House will have a booth at the “Spring into Summer” Arts and Crafts Event, organized by the Kin Club of Sarnia, at Baxter Park, 1582 Colborne Road, North of Lakeshore Road, on Saturday May 30th from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Come out to meet some of our artists, see demonstrations, and learn about the children’s summer art camps being provided at the Lawrence House by The Art House - SARNIA
