Exciting news for St. Thomas families! 🌟

Big news for St. Thomas families 👏

The Province has approved $43.6 million for a new construction replacement for Arthur Voaden Secondary School in St. Thomas. The new school will accomodate 703 students and provide 88 licensed child care spaces.

As part of the same announcement, funding was also approved for a joint‑use elementary school site with Thames Valley District School Board and CS Viamonde, which includes:
• $22.2 million for a new Talbotville Elementary School with 49 licensed child care spaces
• $15.6 million for the new École élémentaire publique St. Thomas, also with 49 licensed child care spaces

Together, these projects will add 186 licensed child care spaces across St. Thomas‑Elgin, supporting families, early learning, and long‑term community planning.
