St. Thomas, ON - Friday July 3rd 2026

The St. Thomas Police Service is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the individual pictured below.

In the early morning hours of July 2nd, police responded to a fire at a residence on Metcalfe Street. All occupants were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Through the investigation, it has been determined the fire is not believed to be suspicious. However, a Honda CRF125 dirt bike was stolen from the property during the incident.

Police are looking to identify the male pictured, who was captured on surveillance video wearing a red shirt and black shorts and was later seen pushing the stolen dirt bike away from the area.

On June 12th, we hosted our annual St. Thomas-Elgin Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament. This year we raised $8400. Last Saturday we hosted our annual Snow Golf Tournament on the beach in Port Stanley followed by a fish n chip dinner at the Port Stanley Legion. Despite the weather, it was a successful day as we raised approximately $3,600. Thank you to all the participants for coming out, our sponsors and donations, and our volunteers. Our success depends on your support!
