2026 PAO Civilian Conference

Members of the St. Thomas Police Association attended the Police Association of Ontario’s 2026 Civilian Conference in Belleville.

The conference provided valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration and discussion on topics including collective bargaining, workplace culture, pay equity and the evolving role of civilian members in policing.

Thank you to the Belleville Police Association for hosting and the Police Association of Ontario for bringing members from across the province together to share ideas, strengthen relationships and support meaningful advocacy.

It was an honour to stand next to our first responders to remember the sacrifice that was made 25 years ago. It was a beautiful day with wonderful words recognizing the victims and those who rose to the occasion to fulfil their duty. We are lucky to have such a close bond with our first responders and this partnership of fire, police and EMS makes us all stronger and are thankful for all those who attended.
