Stop by Giant Tiger between 11 and 2 for a hot dog and water. Payment is by cash donation. Giant Tiger is providing all the supplies so every dollar donated goes directly to support hungry children in Charlotte County!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Charlotte County Recreation and Home Show to chat, learn more about WGYB, and the support that is being provided to local children and families in Charlotte County.

Events like this really show how strong and connected our community is and It was great to have shared those two days alongside so many incredible local businesses, organizations, and community members.

✨Allow us to reintroduce ourselves✨

We’ve Got Your Back is a charitable foundation that provides children and youth of Charlotte County, who are experiencing food insecurity, weekend bags of groceries to take home from school.

Each week an incredible team of volunteers comes together to make a difference in our community. From finding the best grocery deals, to packing all of the bags, and delivering them to schools. This effort helps ensure children have the food that they need.

In addition, two times a year volunteers gather in a large kitchen to peel, chop, cook, and package hot meals for the families of the We’ve Got Your Back Children in our community.

Everyone involved has one goal, and that is to remove the fear of hunger from the children in our community.
