🏆 Today we were proud to recognize Emera New Brunswick as a Platinum Sponsor of the Charlotte County Fall Fair, celebrating their valued support of both the Fair and Ganong Nature Park. 🌿

On behalf of the Charlotte County Fall Fair Committee, Peter Heelis and Colleen Wi******er presented a Platinum Sponsor plaque to Michelle Thibodeau Coates, Stakeholder Relations Manager with Emera New Brunswick.

The plaque features a vibrant illustration celebrating the spirit of the Charlotte County Fall Fair — local agriculture, community gathering, and the traditions that bring our region together each year. 🌾 It’s a small way for us to express our appreciation for organizations like Emera that invest in our community and help make events like the Fair possible.

In addition to their annual sponsorship, Emera also provided additional support this year to bring Environment Falcon presentations into local schools. 🦅 Environment Falcon specializes in the training and reproduction of birds of prey for conservation, ecological bird control, and environmental education. Their presentations gave students in our community a unique opportunity to learn about birds of prey and the important role they play in our ecosystem.

Emera’s support helps strengthen the Charlotte County Fall Fair while also supporting the continued growth of Ganong Nature Park and the programs and experiences it provides for our community.

Thank you to Michelle and the entire Emera New Brunswick team for your leadership and continued support. 👏

We are thrilled to share that St. Croix Estuary Project Inc. (The Ganong Nature Park) has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 NBMS Community Fund!

Thank you to Médecins NB Docs (New Brunswick Medical Society) and the NBMS Advocacy & Engagement Committee for this meaningful recognition under this year’s theme, “Green & Well: Healthy Environments.”

This theme celebrates organizations dedicated to protecting New Brunswick’s natural spaces while fostering healthier, more resilient communities — a mission that deeply reflects the work we do every day at Ganong Nature Park.

We are grateful for this support and look forward to continuing to connect people, nature, and community here in Charlotte County. 🌿💚
