Our Fall Job Fair was a success!

💼 Over 100 regional job seekers came through yesterday and had the opportunity to connect with almost 18 employers in person and review a 'digital' job board with 215 jobs. We saw multiple people get jobs right on the spot!

MID-WEEK CHECK IN: Our Business/Employer Tour!

Who have we been chatting with this week as a part of our regional economic development strategy?

🍫: Future St. Stephen & SNBSC sat down with the Leadership Team at Ganong to chat all things future growth including how we can help support local students to enter the industry.

🌷: The Saint Andrews Chamber & SNBSC sat down with Kingsbrae Garden to hear about how we can coordinate regional tourism because the "East Coast is here!"

🐟: We finished our regional business meetings this week with East Coast Innovation to learn more about their new & innovative solutions for solving aquaculture challenges.

East Coast Innovation started in 2020 as a tech company and has quickly grown to 15 employees, supporting the aquaculture industry in Charlotte County and as far away as Norway.

It's part of the Workplace Essential Skills program, run through WorkingNB with ASD-S.
