Describe your role with the company?
Iโve worked in a few different areas during my time with the NWI, but Iโve truly found my passion in youth care both in residential homes and mentoring. Some days Iโm on a night shift in a home, and the next I might be out kayaking or fishing with a youth, or even tearing down a small engine and teaching them how it works.
When I owned my pet store for eight years, I always admired this company because, like me, they gave back to the community. Thatโs why I was so happy when I got the opportunity to come work here.

What is something personal you'd like people to know?
A personal story I'd like to share is - NWI was there for me when we closed down our pet store and gave me a chance to be a good staff member. Long before working here, my son was a youth in care. I owe a lot to this company. They helped me keep a roof over my head after the closure of my pet store and gave me my son. They also gave him the best years of his life before coming with us.
Working for this company means more than just employment to me.
