Welcome to a space built on community, understanding, and shared strength. We recognize the profound, multi-generational impact of the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) crisis. If you are a survivor, a family member, a loved one, or an ally carrying the weight of this ongoing tragedy, please know that you do not have to walk this path alone. This group is dedicated to honouring those we have lost while lifting up those who are here.

Are you an Elder who would like to connect, share your knowledge, and help guide others in our community?

We are inviting Elders to join our Elders Circle of Care Program, a welcoming and supportive space where you can:

• Share stories, teachings, and life experiences
• Participate in crafting and traditional activities
• Pass on knowledge and cultural wisdom to future generations
• Build meaningful connections within the community

Your wisdom, experience, and guidance are invaluable gifts, and we would be honored to have you be part of this journey.

Early Closure Today Please be advised that the Friendship Centre will be closing early at 1:00 PM today as we prepare for the funeral of a beloved Elder.We appreciate your community support, respect, and understanding during this time of mourning. Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones.Regular hours will resume Monday August 24th, 2026

Our Centre Elder Senator Linda Boudreau arrangements are August 21, 2026 Friday @ 2:30 pm we will be leaving Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel Ltd. And bring Aunty Linda to the Mannawanis Native Friendship Centre for a one night wake. Service for National Elders Senator will be August 22, 2026, start time 10 am. It will be a Traditional Service, please ladies wear your skirts if you plan to join the pipe ceremony.
