South Shore Educational Foundation scolaire Riverside sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal The SSEF is an independent charitable organization which is registered with Revenue Canada.

Our mission is to support the students & schools of the Riverside School Board on Montreal's South Shore - Notre mission est de pouvoir offrir un soutien financier aux élèves et aux écoles de la Comm. The South Shore Educational Foundation (SSEF) was established in 1998 with a mission to support the students and schools that fall under the jurisdiction of the Riverside School Board (RSB) on Montre

al's South Shore. We are run by a Board of Directors - a group of 9 volunteers that consist of parents, community members, and past employees of the RSB. We provide tax receipts for gifts of $20 or more. Gifts can be made in support of:

- the SSEF's General Fund which supports food programs; literacy and after-school programs; scholarships and bursaries; educational trips; art and music programs; sport activities; and improvement of facilities.

- A specific school or a specific project/program within a school. You can make your gift online or by mail at the following addresses:

The South Shore Educational Foundation (SSEF) warmly invites you to attend our Annual General Meeting on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 6:00 PM.

Join us to learn more about who we are, what we’ve accomplished over the past year, and our exciting plans for the 2025–2026 SSEF Project. This is a great opportunity to those interested in getting more involved in supporting our schools and seeing how the SSEF continues to support and enhance educational initiatives in our community.

The South Shore Educational Foundation is excited to start this new school year with you!! We wish every student, staff member, and parent of the RSB community, the best of the 2025-2026 school year!

We at the SSEF understand that current financial constraints make it difficult for schools to fund the projects and activities that offer unique, creative learning opportunities for students. That’s why we’re here to support RSB student projects and activities. Our work is made possible by generous donations from individuals and local businesses, and we proudly back all efforts to improve our educational system.

Donations can be made to an individual project, a specific school, or to the SSEF general fund.

Last year's "SSEF Money for Music" project, brought musical instruments to our elementary schools. Many who were in such dire need of replacing existing instruments. Others were able to create meaningful programs with the aid of the funds received.
