🐉 What a Wonderful Day at Dragons on the Lake! 🐉
What an incredible day! After being away for several years, the Dragon Boat Festival returned to Saint John, and it was wonderful to see the community come together once again to celebrate sport, culture, friendship, and community spirit.
👏 Congratulations to the organizers for bringing this wonderful event back to life and for all the hard work, planning, and dedication that went into making the festival such a success!
A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make the day so special:
🚣 To all the dragon boat teams and paddlers — thank you for your enthusiasm, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. Congratulations to all the teams who took part!
🙌 To all the volunteers — your time, energy, and behind-the-scenes work made everything possible. We truly appreciate your dedication.
🎶 To all the performers, musicians, and cultural groups — thank you for bringing so much energy, colour, and joy to the festival.

❤️ And most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to watch, participate, cheer, and celebrate with us. Your support made the return of the Dragon Boat Festival truly meaningful.
The Greater Saint John Chinese Cultural Association (GSJCCA) was very proud to be part of this special event. We were honoured to share Chinese culture through the Dragon Eye-Dotting Ceremony, Dragon Parade, Lion Dance, music, dance, and other cultural performances.
It was wonderful to see people from so many different backgrounds celebrating together. This is what community is all about — sharing cultures, building friendships, and creating memories together.
