Today, we wear orange to honour Orange Shirt Day and recognize the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

At Daycare by Design, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, included, and that they belong.Today is an opportunity to learn about the history and experiences of Indigenous peoples, remember the children who were impacted by residential schools, and reflect on how we can build a kinder and more inclusive community.

Through age-appropriate conversations, stories, art, and learning experiences, we can help children understand the importance of kindness, respect, belonging, and caring for one another.
