A hospital stay isn’t always planned. Sometimes, patients arrive at St. Joe’s with little more than the clothes they’re wearing, leaving everyday comforts and necessities behind.

That’s where Patient Comfort & Care makes a difference.

Sometimes, the smallest comforts can make the biggest difference.

For patients staying within St. Joseph’s Hospital’s Health and Aging Program, being away from home can be difficult.

Some patients arrive without the personal necessities they need, and not everyone has family nearby or the financial means to purchase them.

Your gift to the Health and Aging Patient Comfort and Care Fund helps ensure that every patient can experience dignity, comfort, and a little bit of home while they are in our care.

Donations can provide practical necessities such as comfortable clothing, pajamas, cozy socks, slippers, and toiletries. Plus, personal care services like a fresh haircut, foot, and nail care, as well as books, puzzles and recreational activities that can brighten a long day and help patients stay engaged and enjoy a quiet afternoon.

These may seem like small things, but to a patient who needs them, they can provide comfort, dignity, and reassurance during a vulnerable time.

Your gift helps us care for the whole person, not just the reason they came to the hospital.
