Hello Everyone:

It is with deep regret that I forward this message to advise that the Lancaster Santa Claus Parade will NOT BE Going as planned, with the forecast we have had numerous participants cancel, and we don't want to have any one injured or get sick as a result of this parade.

On behalf of the Committee I would like to thank you all for the past 20 years, it has been our pleasure to organize it with the support of so many groups, schools, businesses.

Best wishes, and a very Merry Christmas to one and all.

Thave been watching the forcast and it looks promising for our time slot with a possibility of a shower or two the parade on Saturday is a good Rain or Shine, we look forward to seeing a large crowd out to see the parade.

Island View School and the Saint John West food bank will be collecting non perishable food items at the parade on Saturday, CUPW members will be collecting letters for Santa 🎅.

We look forward to seeing everyone at this the Final Lancaster Santa Claus Parade. It has been a great run for the past 20 years, and we will miss this parade very much.

The route for the parade on Saturday is Manawagonish Rd from Catherwood to Main St W, moving to Ready St, turning on Ready to Catherwood, turning on Catherwood to Fairville Blvd, ending just past the Aquarius Tower.

It will go Rain or Shine.

Just a reminder to everyone that the Lancaster Santa Claus Parade parade will take place on Saturday, November 23 at 1pm.

This will be the final edition of the Lancaster Santa Claus Parade, after a 20 year run, the interest has waned the past couple of years, and with Grandbay-Westfield running their own parade they have drawn entries that would normally enter this parade.

We would like to thank all the present and past participants for the support of the community over the past 20 years. As well we thank the public for their support for always waiting patiently for Santa to grace our community.

Saint John, The 19th Annual Lancaster Santa Claus Parade got underway on Saturday, November 25, with 39 entries ready to showcase Santa Claus and usher in the Christmas spirit for all the children. This year's parade was an awesome spectacular looking event, all the entries were decorated with love and care, and were worthy of being showcased in the parade.

This event could not take place without the generous support of the City of Saint John, Saint John Police Force, Local 18 Outside works of the City of Saint John, Saint John Fire Department, The CREW of the Parade Committee for the behind the scene work and parade day organizers, the judges for the impartial decisions on the floats and entries, the many businesses and organizations that put in the many floats, the bands, and Santa for giving up their time and efforts to ensure that the citizens and visitors alike had an enjoyable parade.

Every entry in the parade is a winner, both to the Committee and the Spectators alike, we wish we could award a trophy to each and every entry, as each one is deserving. The committee's thanks are extended to each entry, and we are blessed to have you in the parade.
