✨ SUNDAY SPARK | Every Story Expands What’s Possible
As we wrap up the final day of our Big Book Sale, we’ve been thinking about something books and mentoring have in common.
📚 Both can help a young person imagine a world beyond the one they already know.
A book can introduce a child to a new place, a new idea, a new perspective—or even a new version of themselves.
A mentor can do the same.
One of the most important things a caring adult can do is expand possibilities: introduce new experiences, encourage curiosity, open doors, and help a young person imagine a future they may not yet be able to see for themselves.
That matters.
Because before a young person can pursue a possibility, they first have to believe that possibility exists.
❤️ Sometimes that begins with a book.
❤️ Sometimes it begins with a conversation.
❤️ Sometimes it begins with someone saying, “Have you ever thought about…?”
And sometimes, one small spark is enough to change the direction of a story.
As thousands of books left our Big Book Sale these past few days for new homes, we love thinking about all the stories—and possibilities—that are just beginning.
