Inform you of the passing of retired brother Darrell Sheffar which occurred on June 30th, 2026. Brother Sheffar was initiated into IBEW Local 502 in October 1997, retiring in December 2019. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, New Brunswick. (506 – 634 – 7424) A visitation in memory of Darrell will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Donations in memory of Darrell may be made to Bobby’s Hospice.

R.I.P. Local I.B.E.W. 502 Union Brother & Great Friend for so many years.
When I was his apprentice back in early 1980's we all called
him "Gramps". Taught me lots. I still visited Gerry at nursing home.
I will miss him & my visits with Gerry so very much.

We regret to inform you of the passing of retired brother John Patrick "Pat" Oram which occurred on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Brother Oram was initiated into IBEW LU 502 in March of 1979, retiring in August of 2020. Our condolences to Pats wife Paulette; his son Jonathan and sister Mary Jane. Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd., Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). Visitation will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, from11AM - 2PM followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 2PM in the Fundy Chapel.
